Estee Lauder Spring 2013 Paris Macarons / Heavy Petals

Can Estee Make up their minds ????? some promo has them as paris macarons others as heavy petals. I prefer the paris name so in my mind they will be that.

Sooo a few weeks ago i saw the promo pics for the Estee Lauder spring collection. I was in love. I have to say the blue surprised me since it looked more idk darker than in real life. The formula was easy to use and each one took 2 coats plus top coat.

I went with the whole collection because i had $$$ from the Sears Rewards program that were set to expire this week. I usually save them for this type of purchase :D . Soooo on with the show .

The Colors are described by Estee Lauder as :

Narcissist – dew rose
Dilettante  – blueberry
Coral Cult – pink berries
Lilac Leather – dream lavender
Absinthe – delicate spring tea

Do you need them ?  ....... It depends if you have a million pastels and don't care for more then no. But if you are looking for pretty pastels this might be for you.  Had i not had those rewards would i have purchased the whole collection?  Nope i was planning on only getting 3 when i saw the promo pics but with the rewards it was getting 2 free so Coral Cult & Absinthe came home with me. Plus my aunt paid for 1 as a late christmas present.

Estee Lauder polishes are $20 USD .

DifferentDImension - Sign Your 'X' On The Line

Normally when i get stuff for review i do 1 post but i got a surprise while working with one of the polishes i got from Missi at Different Dimensions that i had to give this polish its own post.

First let me introduce you to the blue loveliness that is Estee Lauder "Blue Blood" . This is a dark navy blue that has a bit of secret shimmer which reminds me of Chanels but not really. It applied ok just a bit too thick for my taste and for a polish that is $20.00 USD you better apply like a dream. I do have to say that it self leveled and i was happy with the results after i added my top coat.

Pretty right?  but then my glitter senses started to itch and i had to go to my indie drawer and while there i remembered the ones i got for review . I was floored with the end result like i can't freaking stop looking at my nails.

Sign Your 'X' On The Line is a mix of silver flakes and gold shreds in a clear base.  So this is only 1 coat over blue blood and look how amazing it looks.  I can't wait to try this over a red. It really applied smoothly and you know me i add a gelous coat to every glitter i use. Some top coat and you have this pretty appearance .

I wanted to get one of the gold leaf top coats but at $30 each .... heck even $15 is making me think it over a lot. I think this polish killed that want that i had and it makes me happy . I do need to buy the full size of this one and one other i loved from the 4 i got to review . The other 3 polishes are coming up in my next post later in the week so look out for that.

You can get Different Dimension polishes from her etsy shop  . Also you can follow updates on her FB page.

Estee Lauder - Teal Topaz

This is one of those shades that i will buy no matter how many i have already. It was pretty opaque after 1 coat but i went with 2 to get the finish i like. Application was smooth and no fumes making me crazy here. Although the shade does look lighter in the bottle than it does on my nails , but no biggie i still love it. The shade is still available and price is $19.00 .
