Rainbow Honey - Snake Eyes

As some of you might have seen i love my RH polishes . Heck i already pre-ordered the new collection and a full size of her Sakura Matsuri top coat.  From her first collection Chrono Cross i have Snake Eyes i'm lemming Siren Song but oh well maybe on the next store opening.  

Snake Eyes is a foamy green base with green and fuschia glitter . I went with Essie's Turquoise & Caicos as a base and did 2 coats and 2 coats of Snake Eyes, then 1 coat of Gelous followed finally by 1 coat of Seche Vite to get that smooth crystal look. It was easy to apply and a good amount of glitter comes out in every dip.

Candeo - Jellybean

This is for me a very spring look. I love Candeo polishes even though my Jellybean had some sinking glitter issues which Melinda promptly solved . I love great costumer service. Jellybean i can best say resembles Easter malt eggs , you know the ones . I went bare on this one only doing 2 coats of Jellybean with no color base and as you can see its very opaque. It dried fast with some fast drying top coat, i used out the door today. This one didn't need any thinner and applied beautifully.

Like i mentioned in yesterday's post i got my RH Sakura Matsuri collection and was very happy with what i got , so much so that I'm already stalking to pre- order her next collection. For today i have the two pink shades of the collection Hanami & Ephimeral .

Bettina - Orchidea ( Orchid )

So since i was buying goodies for the wonderful Ashleigh from Nailbrite- a nail polish blog i stumble on a new Bettina display and just had to have this shade . It looks a lot lighter in the store so yeah go figure. Anyway for those that don't know Bettina is a local brand here in Puerto Rico. I think they are sold in Florida and trough special order trough their Facebook Page . Anyway if i remember the name of the display was "Flori" or something along those lines , sorry people i got distracted by the giant wall of Bettinas at the store.

Dior "Lucky"

All i can say is " where have you been all my life? ". This is one of my first nail polishes by Dior and i have fallen in love with the brush . I can say it compares to the new Wet & Wild Megalast nail polishes brush . Its perfect for my nail beds . I do have to say though this type of brush might not be for everyone. Some hate the shape of the brush while others love it . "Lucky" is part of the spring Color Block collection with Incognito,Plaza & Riviera . It can be best described as a hot pink coral color. If you put it against something pink you will see it more pink so the pinkish quality is there . Application was a dream and it took 2 coats to get it opaque.

Candeo - Dolce

oh pretty in pink monday for me ... I first got on the Candeo bandwagon with Jellybean and got more colors from them and today we have Dolce. It is best described as a milky pink with hexagonal purple,white and pink glitters with some irridecent smaller ones to give it more spark. This is two coats of Chanel's Melrose with 2 coats of Dolce on top.  Dolce did need a few drops of thinner to make it easier to work with.

 On a sad note just after i finished taking the pictures for this post my dog decided to be a "scared of thunder yorkie " and jumped on me destroying my mani but oh well there is always acetone and this gives me the chance to do another mani .

 

On the website Dolce is described as "Dolce has a cotton candy pink base with dark pink shimmer and multiple sizes of white, holo purple & silver hex and bar glitter. Also, holo silver half moons are in the mix." All the polishes are $8.00 . She does post minis sometimes so be on the lookout if thats what you want. Right know the shop is on vacation and she will restock probably friday but if you want to be notified or to buy when its fully restocked go here.

Pretty & Polished - Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am

Let me start by saying i seriously need a nail polish ban with the amount i have been buying latetly. That said lets get on with the show. I got this baby on her Esty shop. I saw the swatches and went to look for it, but suprise its not on the shop anymore . So i asked Chelsea if she had at least 1 left and she did ( thank uuuu !!!! )

All That Glitters - Frantic Romantic

So i couldn't resist trying on Frantic Romantic it was the one i was most excited for .  I decided to use Lancome "Miss Perfectly Pink" as a base. Application needed 2 coats to get it super glittery , but getting hearts was a bit of a pain everything else came out fine. Although i have to say that i actually prefer not having hearts in all my nails, i think it looks less childish . I applied 2 coats of Lancome, 2 of frantic romantic & 1 coat of SV to smooth it out .

Pretty & Polished - Jawbreaker

so i know i said last week that i was doing Chanel LA Sunrise but i just got this baby on the mail and had to try it out. I do love the look it gives and it does really look like the white jawbreakers do , but my only complaint is that the bigger red pieces get stuck to the bottle. This still happens even after putting it upside down for a few minutes .
