Chilling by the Pond

I mentioned in the post before that i was going for pink nails this week , but while rearranging my indie nail drawer i saw my bottle of Rainbow Honey's "Koi Pond" and it called to me . I had gotten Revlon "Royal" last week and put the 2 side by side and thought of water so i went with it. I do like the outcome because the glitter pieces look as if floating in deep blue water , sooo pretty .

Koi Pond is is a mix of blue and green glitters in different sizes all in a clear base. I do have to say that this glitter packs a punch. I did add a bit of thinner because i want my glitter to last a while , but one coat is all it takes even after thinning it out. I used a coat of fast drying top coat between the color and glitter coats to prevent the glitter from dragging the color,  I always do this with all my glitter applications. I did one more coat of fast drying top coat, then a generous coat of Gelous . I let that dry until is not that sticky and then finished it up with a generous coat f Seche Vite.
